Updated June 2, 10:08 a.m.: Spectrum Group Real Estate is planning a mixed-use hotel and student housing development for a 4.2-acre site on the 3900 block on South Figueroa Street and South Flower Drive, according to city planning documents reviewed by The Real Deal.

The project, located across the street from USC’s Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, would comprise a number of mixed-income apartments, Urbanize reported. The Irvine-based developer requested for environmental assessment last week.
