Movers & Shakers: CBRE’s Myles Helm jumps ship to Stan Johnson, Greysteel taps Mark Pettibone for multifam & more

Stan Johnson Company has poached Myles Helm from CBRE to be its West Coast regional managing director. Helm’s hire is part of the New York-based net lease company’s overall expansion efforts out west, according to a press release Monday.

He will be working out of Stan Johnson’s office in Downtown L.A.

At CBRE, Helm was a managing director for the South Bay area. Prior to CBRE, he was director of business development for Trizec Properties and an executive vice president for Charles Dunn.

Greysteel has tapped commercial real estate veteran Mark Pettibone as the new leader of its multifamily investment sales division. Joining Greysteel from Commercial Resource, an L.A. real estate investment firm, Pettibone will oversee the sale and financing of mid-market multifamily properties for clients in his new role as director.

His submarkets will include Hollywood, Silver Lake, Los Feliz and Atwater Village.

In residential, Nourmand & Associates promoted Gavin Fleminger to manage its Brentwood office. Fleminger was assistant manager for 11 years and has been with the firm for nearly two decades.

His sales experience spans more than 700 transactions and amounts to about $500 million worth of sales, according to Nourmand. As the Brentwood manager, Fleminger will oversee an office of about 40 brokers and agents.
