Drake’s $20M “YOLO estate” in Hidden Hills off market

UPDATED, January 31, 2017, 12:26 p.m.: Drake’s Hidden Hills property was never meant to be listed for sale, The Real Deal has learned. The home was mistakenly posted on Multiple Listing Service, according to Alex Pavlov of First Choice Realty.

The Canadian-born rapper had his three-acre Hidden Hills pad – dubbed “the YOLO Estate” – on Monday for $20 million, but it was just as quickly pulled off the market.

The 12,500-square-foot property on Round Meadow Road features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, the Los Angeles Times reported. It includes a 25-seat theater, game room, spa/massage room and a wine cellar complete with tasting room.

Drake, whose legal name is Aubrey Drake Graham, purchased the house in 2012 for only $7.7 million – a steal considering its previous owner, Larry Pollack, founder of Saddle Ranch Chop House chain, initially listed the property in 2009 for $27 million, or $3,627 per square foot, according to property records.

Drake spent four years renovating the estate. Its outdoor spaces include a multi-million dollar pool with cascading waterfalls, an 80-foot waterslide and a swim-in grotto. There’s also a tennis, basketball and beach volleyball court on the property, as well as a five-stall horse facility and riding area.
