About 70 percent of millennials have reported that they’ve saved less than $1,000 for a house down payment, a new study from Apartment List reveals.

The survey concluded that less than 30 percent of even the older crowd, between 25 and 34, would be able to save enough for a 10 percent home down payment in the next three years, and a meager 15 percent could save that much in a year’s time, according to the Wall Street Journal.
