Geoff Palmer has quite the stinky problem at one of his Santa Clarita rental properties.

Residents of the 255-unit Sand Canyon Ranch filed complaints to the Department of Public Health about overflowing trash at their complex, managed by GHP Management and developed by Palmer.
Trash pickup was suspended for 10 days, it turns out, due to a nonpayment issue, KHTS Santa Clarita News reported. Waste Management said it received a partial payment Wednesday, and service resumed the next day.

Residents of the complex at 28856 N. Silver Saddle Circle spotted “rodents, cockroaches and flies” at the trash overflow site, their complaints said.

Palmer has developed more than a thousand apartments in the Santa Clarita Valley, KHTS noted.

One of the most controversial figures in L.A. real estate, Palmer recently settled a lawsuit with the City of L.A. for $400,000 over the massive fire at his Da Vinci rental complex in 2014. [KHTS] — Cathaleen Chen
