Updated Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 9:32 a.m.: Summer in Los Angeles isn’t complete without a backyard shindig. The priciest listings last week all came with plenty of outdoor space — and plenty more inside.

Three of the homes clocked in at more than 10,000-square-feet with most of the homes offering manicured gardens, outdoor swimming pools and barbecue areas.

The priciest pad, asking $23 million, has floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking its expansive garden. The 13,056-square-foot mansion in Brentwood also has a more than 500-square-foot guest house.

The largest home on the list is a four-story, 16,000-square-foot home on Marlay Drive, asking $14.9 million. Built in 2009, the mansion has a 3,000-square-foot master suit with boutique-size walk-in closets. It also has a 22-seat dining room and 32 camera surveillance system, for the more cautious buyer.

Here are the top five single-family home listings in Los Angeles, according to TRD’s analysis of Redfin, Zillow and MLS data:
