Movers & Shakers: HGA poaches Peter Erni for VP role, AMCAL hires new senior director…and more

HGA Architects and Engineers poached Peter Erni for an associate vice president and principal role in their Santa Monica office. Erni previously held an associate partner title at ZGF Architects in Los Angeles, where he worked with clients including Google and California State University. As associate vice president for HGA, he will direct strategic growth of the office’s Arts, Community and Education Practice Group, which focuses on arts and community projects.

Affordable housing developer AMCAL Group of Companies tapped Michael Winter for a senior director role in the firm’s Agoura Hills office. Winter, whose formal title reads senior director of preconstruction and predevelopment, will oversee operations at the firm’s development projects in California. He recently served as senior vice president of development for Irvine Company’s mixed-use multifamily development and construction projects.

Commercial brokerage CBRE poached Adam Peterson for a first vice president role in the Century City outpost. Peterson spent 10 years at RE/MAX Commercial and Investment Realty prior to the move. His expertise lies in multifamily, commercial and development sites covering infill Los Angeles markets.
