Mayor Eric Garcetti, rejoice. There’s another transit-oriented project in the pipeline.

An unidentified developer filed plans with the City of Los Angeles on Monday, proposing a 36-foot tall building at 3605 South 10th Avenue, Urbanize reported. The building would rise a half-mile from the Metro’s under-construction Expo/Crenshaw Station.

If approved, the project would include 38 condo units and 77 parking spaces, according to the filing. It would rise six feet above the permitted building height in the neighborhood.

But that’s not the only development heading to the area.

Just two weeks ago, Metro announced it would be jointly developing a mixed-use project with Watt Companies half a mile away from the Expo/Crenshaw Station. The proposed two-building development would house 492 residential units — 73 of which would be for low-income residents — and 47,500 square feet of commercial space. A restaurant and grocery store will also be included in the project.

The Martin family, who owns the West L.A. Cadillac dealership at 12101 W. Olympic Boulevard, is also seeking to repurpose their site into 619 apartment units, 150,000 square feet of creative office space and about 100,000 square feet of retail space. The project sits one block away from the soon-to-be Metro station.
