Looks like Brookfield won’t have to rename its building anytime soon.

Accounting giant Ernst & Young re-signed for 120,000 square feet of space at Brookfield’s EY Plaza at 725 S. Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles, The Real Deal has learned.

The firm — an eponymous anchor tenant since 1999 — has signed on for another 10 more years and will continue to occupy six floors in the 41-story building.

John Barganski and James Malone of Brookfield represented their firm, while Glenn Dyke and Kevin Bender of CBRE represented EY.

Located in Downtown’s Financial District at the corner of Figueroa and 7th Street, EY Plaza spans over 900,000 square feet. It’s currently 90 percent leased.

The property is one of Brookfield’s biggest holdings in DTLA, acquired as part of a portfolio valued at over $4.8 billion in 2006. The developer owns, manages or leases over 8.6 million square feet of office space in the area, and it is currently developing a 64-story skyscraper set to rise nearby at 945 W. 8th Street, slated for completion in 2023.
