Just a few months after extending a lease in Culver City, NFL Media announced it is opening a new facility in Inglewood.

The company will build out a 200,000-square-foot facility at the L.A. Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park in Inglewood in 2021. It will house its NFL Network, NFL.com, NFL app and NFL RedZone operations, as well as outdoor studio space, L.A. Rams owner Stan Kroenke and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Monday.

NFL Media now occupies a 170,000 square feet across two Hudson Pacific Properties-owned buildings in Culver City. It extended its lease until 2021 earlier this year in what Hudson Pacific’s CEO Victor Coleman dubbed its “biggest deal in the quarter.”

The sports media giant will be joining the Rams and Chargers at the 298-acre development, which is set to open in 2020. There was speculation NFL Media would move its headquarters to the new development once the Rams announced their return to L.A. The complex will also include 3,000 residential units, 400,000 square feet of retail and 25 acres of park space.

Its 70,000-seat stadium is expected to bring several sporting events to the area, including future Super Bowls, the 2028 Olympics and the NCAA Final Four. [Wrap]  — Natalie Hoberman
