The future is here for an artificial intelligence company that has just signed on at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

The firm Poletus, has signed a lease for 21,000 square feet at the center’s Green Tower, at 8687 Melrose Ave., according to the L.A. Business Journal. It will occupy half of the eighth floor at the complex, owned by Cohen Brothers Realty.

The three-year-old Poletus develops artificial intelligence products related to marketing and data analysis, according to its website. It seems like a smart move for Poletus, which appears to have planted itself amid potential clients.

Poletus joins the cloud finance company InvestCloud, the dating app Grindr — which also has 28,000 square feet at the complex’s Center Red building — and a handful of public relations and production houses at the 450,000-square-foot Center Green building.

The iconic 14-acre Pacific Design Center is comprised of three colorful buildings designed by Cesar Pelli. Center Green opened in 1988 and was renovated in the mid-2000s after New York investor Charles Cohen purchased it. Cohen developed Center Red in 2011, making the center a total of 1.6 million square feet.

WeWork signed a 70,000-square-foot lease for two entire floors at Center Red last July.
