UPDATED, April 12, 10:10 a.m.: It might not be at Broadway’s “Sneaker Row,” but there’s another streetwear store that’s having fans running to Downtown Los Angeles.

Bodega, a Boston-based streetwear brand with a cult-like following that includes celebrities as disparate as Eric Clapton and Kevin Durant, opened its second U.S. location at the Row DTLA, the retail and office complex. The company signed a deal for an 8,000-square-foot location spread across two floors, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In classic Bodega style, the storefront is masked by an actual bodega, filled with a Snapple machine and a refrigerated produce market that leads to the actual shop. Inside, the first floor hosts variety of different pop-up shops while the second floor serves as a lounge with art books and music.

The streetwear company often pairs with other brands, such as Nike, to repurpose older fan favorites like Air Jordans or Air Max shoes. It also has its own branded line of merch, which sells out online minutes after dropping.

Other tenants signing on to the Row include Adidas, Anti Recidivism Coalition, J. Brand, latin media company MiTu, Gimbal and co-working firm Spaces.

Row, jointly developed by Atlas Capital Group and Square Mile Capital Management, has 1.3 million square feet of office and retail space. Its developers agreed to sell roughly one-third stake in the project last June, valuing the property at more than $700 million. [THR] — Natalie Hoberman
