Former Clippers player bought 6-bedroom estate for $9M in 2015
Chris Paul has scored a slam dunk in Calabasas.
The NBA All-Star sold his mansion for $11.05 million, registering the highest price paid for a single-family home in the ritzy neighborhood this year, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Spanning about 10,400 square feet, the two-story estate includes six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Amenities include a movie theater, pizza oven and wine cellar.
Of course, a full-size outdoor basketball court completes the outside.
Paul bought the residence for $8.9 million three years ago, while he played for the L.A. Clippers, records show.
Tomer Fridman and Isadora Friedman of Compass had the listing. Emil Hartoonian of the Agency represented the buyer.
Calabasas is one of the more desired neighborhoods in the San Fernando Valley, partly due to its gated streets and hence, exclusivity. In the past, it’s attracted celebrities like the Kardashians, Britney Spears, Justin Beiber, among others.
Some of the pricier sales in the neighborhood include an $8.1 million sale of a two-story home owned by “The Biggest Loser” producer David Broome, and a 190-acre ranch that sold for $14 million.
Paul, a two-time Olympic gold medal champ and nine-time NBA All-Star, played for the Clippers from 2011 to 2017. He was traded to the Rockets last summer. [LAT] – Natalie Hoberman
