The biggest construction permits in Los Angeles for September included a hotel in Hollywood and two airport properties.

Developers secured permits valued at $102.8 million for 538,400 square feet of space.

The total dollar amount was below August’s $149.6 million but far above July, which was just $64.2 million.

The Real Deal analyzed permits within the L.A. city limits. They are ranked by dollar-valuation by the Department of Building and Safety.

1. 24 | $37.8M | 20060 W. Prairie St.

Development firm Uncommon, along with toy manufacturer MGA Entertainment, secured a permit for a 204-unit apartment building and six-story parking garage in Chatsworth. The permit is valued at $37.8 million. The five-story, 224,300-square-foot property is part of a larger project on the MGA campus. Dubbed 24, because it will encompass 24 acres, that sprawling project will become the toy manufacturer’s new headquarters.
