Sotheby’s International Realty has promoted Michael Williamson to regional senior vice president and head of the brokerage’s Greater L.A. and Ventura County operations. He will be in charge of 12 offices and 600 agents. Williamson joined Sotheby’s in May 2018 as senior vice president for its Pasadena office after nearly a decade with the John Aaroe Group. He left about a year after Pacific Union International acquired the company.

John McMillan is now a vice chairman at Newmark Knight Frank. He had been managing director, based out of the firm’s South Bay office. McMillan specializes in industrial real estate, but his team has also represented tenants elsewhere around the U.S. Last year, they handled lease deals totaling 2.5 million square feet.
