Ex-Dodger Adrian Beltre scores on mansion sale in Arcadia

Adrian Beltre, the slugging third baseman who spent his first seven seasons in the big leagues with the Dodgers, sold has his Arcadia mansion.

Beltre — who retired at the end of last season — and his wife Sandra, sold their home for $6.5 million, The Real Deal has learned. The Beltres purchased it in 2012 for $5 million, records show.

The buyers are Thomas McKernan Jr. and Judith McKernan. Thomas McKernan is president and CEO of four companies affiliated with the Automobile Club of Southern California.

The 9,000-square-foot home is on a 0.79-acre lot at 46 W. Sycamore Avenue, about seven miles west of Pasadena. It was renovated in 2013 and includes six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Beltre retired in November with more than 3,000 hits and 477 home runs in 21 seasons in the Major Leagues, making him a leading candidate for the Hall of Fame in 2024.
