This past week’s total of $160.9 million included a Beverly Hills estate once owned by the son of late-billionaire Norton Simon. Listed at $42 million, it took the top spot.

Two homes with killer views in Brentwood and Beverly Hills, meanwhile, each are listed for $36 million apiece. The others include a Tuscan-style estate in Beverly Hills, and another, though slightly less pricey Brentwood manse.

The data and information was compiled from the Multiple Listings Service and Redfin during Sept. 2 to 9.
