The top five residential sales in Los Angeles County last week totaled $73.5 million combined, well below the top home sale from the week before.

That outlier was Bruce Makowsky’s $94 million Bel Air spec mansion, dubbed “The Billionaire.” It had originally listed for $250 million, before several price chops.

This week, the priciest luxury sale was a $32 million Beverly Hills mansion. The No 2 spot was notable in that it was the highest-price a home sold for in Encino in two years.

The data and information was compiled from the Multiple Listing Service and Redfin from Oct. 29-Nov. 4.
