Hotels come to downtown West Palm Beach

Several big hotel projects are planned or already underway in downtown West Palm Beach. Boca Raton-based developer Brefrank has plans for a 13-story, 158-room Marriott Residence Inn on Hibiscus Street at Quadrille Boulevard. Another developer, New Chicago Partners, wants to convert the historic 10-story Comeau office building on Clematis Street into a boutique hotel. A 167-room Hyatt Hotel is under construction on Olive Avenue, and a 400-room Westin hotel project on Okeechobee is expected to break ground next month.
