It might be easier than ever to find cheap rental property in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, due to the increase in available housing. But renters must be careful that they aren’t getting involved with landlords who can’t afford repairs, or who could even let their property go into foreclosure, forcing tenants out. Average rents in the area have remained flat in 2008, and the need to provide incentives to convince people to rent due to the housing glut has hurt already cash-strapped landlords.
