The newly built Staples, located at Biscayne Boulevard and 21st Street, is the office supply chain’s first store built to LEED-certification standards. Developers Bill Bionde and Michael Katz say they have file the appropriate paperwork and expect the certification from the U.S. Green Building Council within a few months.
