UCF’s real estate school names first scholar

The University of Central Florida in Orlando has chosen Randy I. Anders, former president of Orland-based CNL Real Estate Advisors, to head its Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate. The program was started in 2006, and currently has almost 200 undergraduate students majoring or minoring in real estate. Anders, who will hold the Howard Phillips Eminent Scholar Chair, previously taught real estate finance at Florida International University in Miami and served as chief economist and director of real estate for Marcus & Millichap.
