While all 20 cities in the S&P/Case-Shiller home-price index showed a year-over-year drop in April, Miami tied with Las Vegas for the metro area with the steepest dip, falling 27 percent. The study includes Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties as part of Miami. The entire index fell 15.3 percent, the largest since the survey’s year-over-year records began in 2001.
