Marquis moves forward

Construction has been moving along steadily on Marquis, Miami’s second tallest building, since the project topped out at 67 stories in April. The glass walls and mechanical, electrical and plumbing are all in place, according to a release. The condo and hotel building, located at 1100 Biscayne Boulevard, is designed by Arquitectonica. It will have 56 hotel rooms, and 305 homes, which will be priced from $1 million to over $15 million. Amenities will include bars, restaurants and an 8,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. Completion of the project is slated for spring 2009.
