Lake Worth seller targets Finns

Gary Orrock of Lake Worth had no luck selling his condo with a
conventional listing, but some transatlantic thinking helped him move
the one-bedroom property. Lake Worth is a favorite destination for
Finns seeking respite from that northern nation’s chilly climate, and
an ad in a Finnish-language paper published locally netted a buyer.
Thanks to their strong euro and the weak dollar. He didn’t get his
asking price of $54,000, but did sell for $50,000 — even though he
paid $70,000 for the unit in 2005.
