Analysts say borrowers will see interest rates for home mortgages continue to rise, even as inventory increases. The market for securitization, which packages and sells mortgages and other debts as securities, has become almost totally dependent on government support. Bond investors have also become wary of buying mortgages in the credit crisis, and many have stopped buying them.
