The Miami Beach Land Use and Development Committee considered a proposed ordinance last week that would permit the rental of homes in single-family zoning districts. The committee will vote on it in November. The ordinance would affect homes in the city and would allow rentals for a minimum period of 30 days, on no more than three separate occasions per year.
