Waterfront development plan up for final approval

The Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum may no longer be Palm Beach Gardens’ defining landmark. A $127 million entertainment waterfront development proposed at its current location is up for final approval at Tuesday’s town council meeting. Harbourside will consist of about 156,000 square feet of shops, offices and restaurants, a five-story hotel, public and private public boat slips, a five-story parking garage and space for a water taxi. It is being planned on the northwest corner of Indiantown Road and U.S. 1.
