Cushman closes $22M Naples office portfolio loan
Real estate investment banking firm Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick
Goldman has closed a $22 million loan for the Adler Group, which is
acquiring an office and industrial portfolio in Naples. The Adler Group already owns two business parks, Collier Park of
Commerce and Commerce Center, with a total of 252,422 square feet.

Furniture company opens Florida office
Metropolitan Warehousing and Delivery, a furniture warehousing and
home delivery company, has opened an office in the Miramar Park of
Commerce. The company’s office and warehouse space totals 11,342
square feet. The company also has offices in New Jersey and North
Carolina. Michael Eisner of Re/Max Premier Associates in Fort
Lauderdale brokered the lease, and David Bateman, leasing associate at
Sunbeam Properties, represented the office park.

CBRE first for investment sales activity
CB Richard Ellis came in first nationwide for investment sales
activity in 2008, according to data from Real Capital Analytics. CBRE
held a 17.9 percent market share in 2008, with $25.3 billion worth of
transactions. The firm also came in first the previous year, with a
market share of 21.9 percent and $11.5 billion in transactions. TRD
