The only Palm Beach home designed by architect Richard Meier, a mid-century modern-style house at 958 N. Lake Way, failed to get a landmark designation from the town council. The white, geometric block of a building, owned by David and Sondra Mack, who opposed the designation, reopened a debate over whether the council should landmark homes before they are 50 years old.
