Short sale closes after $1.4 million price cut

An East Delray Beach property closed this week for $2.2 million as a pre-foreclosure short sale after a reduction from the original $3.9 million listing price. Corcoran Group sales agent Nicholas Malinosky said about 50 prospective buyers came to look at the property, which received more than 10 cash offers. The 7,392-square-foot home, at 1016 Harbor Drive, has five bedrooms, a three-car garage and a private dock. The list price was reduced from $3.9 million to the short sale asking price of $2.495 million before selling for $2.2 million, Malinosky said. Malinosky and Corcoran sales agent Randy Ely brokered the deal. TRD
