The site of a gutted house at 415 Brazilian Avenue in Palm Beach was sold for $1.5 million, more than a year after fire destroyed the home belonging to James Hunt Barker and claimed the life of his friend. Barker, an art collector, also lost his artwork and recently had the house and a guest house razed. Palm Beach resident David Frisbie bought the property, according to court records.
