The National Association of Realtors gave the Florida Association of Realtors $97,000 to fund local foreclosure prevention efforts, one of the largest grants in the national group’s $682,000 program. The Florida group said it will plan, coordinate and promote a week that focuses on homeownership statewide. The program will educate Floridians on federal, state and local loan modification and refinance assistance. FAR will also develop assistance for local Realtor associations.
