Brang Construction will build Boca Raton a $1.65 million county fire station now that the contractor has been approved by the Palm Beach County Commission. The two-story, 8,700-square-foot station will be located at 4022 Charleston Street in unincorporated Lake Worth. The current station serving the area was built in 1979 and is too small and too old to meet current firefighting needs, officials said.
