Shredded papers found in wake of mortgage investigation

The state attorney general’s office crackdown on mortgage service companies made progress after a judge issued an emergency injunction shutting down four companies. FHA All Day.com, Safety Financial Services, Housing Assistance Law Center and Housing Assistance Now. They are all blocked from doing business thanks to a Palm Beach Circuit Court judge’s order, because their last moves may have been illegal. According to Regional Deputy Attorney General Cindy Guerra, at an address used by two of the businesses, investigators found bags of shredded documents related to accusations that they bilked homeowners out of millions of dollars.
