Relocations a green shoot for commercial space

Palm Beach County has seen the worst of the real estate collapse, but now levels of leasing activity are starting to pick up and indicate a more promising environment for commercial leasing. Kelly Smallridge, president of the Business Development Board, Palm Beach County’s business recruitment arm, said activity is at a two- to three-year high. Quality office space has gotten cheaper, and remains plentiful, with a 15 percent vacancy rate for Palm Beach Gardens alone.
