Lender Mercantil Commercebank filed a foreclosure lawsuit against the 245 unsold units at the Normandy Square condominium in Lauderdale Lakes. Mercantil, based in Coral Gables, sued Normandy Village Holdings, according to Broward County Circuit Court records. The suit concerns a mortgage issued for $21.4 million in 2006 for the four apartment buildings along Northwest 36th Street. Only 13 units in the project sold.
