Rep. Julio Robaina, a Miami Republican, and Eleanor Sobel, a Hollywood Democrat, have joined forces to get a bill that would help struggling condominium owners on the agenda of the special session of the Florida Legislature. The lawmakers argue that helping bulk buyers of distressed condo projects will put a floor under the market and help the real estate sector revive. Observers said the bill has little chance of making the agenda, which promises to be dominated by commercial real estate issues. [Sun Sentinel]
