CBRE: Short-term office leases, industrial lease restructuring becoming more common

Palm Beach County tenants and landlords are now more willing to sign short-term leases as they look for signs of an office market recovery, according to a first-quarter office market report from CB Richard Ellis. But despite some positive signs, new office construction has all but frozen. On the industrial front, tenants struggling with their own bottom lines are seeking to downsize as landlords are coping by restructuring leases, according to CBRE’s industrial market report for the same period.
