Terry Stiles is setting his sights on Miami-Dade County

After being less than a top priority for Terry Stiles, Miami-Dade
County is at the forefront of an expansion plan for the Fort Lauderdale
developer. “Our focus was up here because it was easy,” said Stiles, a
Fort Lauderdale native. “We’re out of easy. You have to change.” The
company made its first forays into Miami-Dade County in 2003 and 2004
by purchasing SunTrust Miami and 800 Brickell, and has several projects
in the planning stages, including the building to three Publix
supermarkets, along with acting as the general contractor for the new
City Furniture and Ashley Furniture stores in Cutler Bay. Stiles is
also looking at constructing an office building in Coral Gables. [Miami Herald]
