The Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn in West Palm Beach have changed hands for an undisclosed amount, brokerage Hotel Assets Group announced today. The 100-room Hilton Garden Inn, which had belonged to Worthington Hospitality, and the 105-room Hampton Inn, which had belonged to Australian Ave Hospitality, are both part of the Hilton brand and are located at the Palm Beach International Airport. The buyer was a limited liability company called RLJ Real Estate Fund III Acquisitions. “This was a very targeted effort that involved premium select-service assets and a singular purchaser that we knew had the ability and inclination to get this difficult transaction completed,” Tom Huegel, vice president of Hotel AG, said of the sale.
