Dormant cases return to Florida courts

Law firms that handle foreclosures in Florida are beginning to regroup,
claiming that flaws have been fixed in the preparation and formation of
documents, and say they hope to move forward with home repossessions.
Defense attorneys are crying foul, however, saying judges shouldn’t
allow re-dos on robo-signed documents and other allegedly unseemly practices. “The foreclosure mills and their clients have caused
themselves and this entire country a profound mess,” said St.
Petersburg defense attorney Matt Weidner. “Now they want our courts to
sign off on their misdeeds.” [Palm
