Three new tenants — a jazz and blues club, a wine store and a Cuban coffee shop with outdoor space — are lined up to fill portions of the former Macy’s space in Downtown Miami. Barlington Group is attempting to lease a total of 20,000 square feet of space in Macy’s west building on Flagler Street and Miami Avenue. Macy’s still operates a store in its eastern building there. Kana Cuban Coffee, which is beginning a national expansion push, has taken 2,500 square feet in the vacated western building. Avenue D, a new club by the owner of Brickell’s Transit Lounge, will occupy 10,000 square feet, and that same club owner will also operate Kork Wine & Spirits in the basement. The remaining 7,500 square feet of space will go to a comfort food restaurant, said Bill Fuller, a managing partner at Barlington. [SFBJ]
