Owners get back drywall homes

 

A homeowner who lost her Lauderhill home to Chinese drywall has finally gotten her home back after two years of waiting. Eleanor Aguilar said that before moving in there was a rotten egg smell which she was told was merely “new house smell.” “This is new house smell. The first thing I checked was that the drywall was U.S. made,” she said. The home is the first of an estimated 300 to be fixed. See more in the video above. [Sun Sentinel]
