Broward home sales jump in April

Condominium sales in Broward County increased 8 percent in April
compared to the same period in 2010, and sales of single-family homes jumped 2
percent from the previous year, according to a report from the Miami
Association of Realtors. “Buyers in the current market are savvy and
understand pricing strategies and implications,” said Terri Bersach,
2011 president of the Broward County Board of Governors of the Miami
Association of Realtors. “For sellers, properties that are priced right
according to the area, amenities and other factors, are selling at the
best possible price.” Cash deals represented 67 percent of all closed
residential sales last month. TRD
