Wellington man charged in deed scheme

Kesner Joaseus, a Wellington resident, has been arrested for allegedly
collecting thousands in rent on homes he did not own, according to an
investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff. The investigation
alleges that Joaseus filed more than 30 questionable documents,
including a quit-claim deed on his 8,000-square-foot home in the tony
Versailles community. In 10 cases where owners of the properties he was
renting could be identified, they said they did not sign quit-claim
deeds that gave Joaseus’ company ownership of the properties. [Palm
