Construction rebound on the way?

Construction payrolls should grow by 20 percent in both Broward and
Miami-Dade counties, according to the Agency for Workforce Innovation.
While the industry is still struggling in South Florida — and lost half
of its workers after a 2006 peak — a slew of commercial projects could
help a rebound. The new Brickell CitiCentre in Miami is one, and the
region has seen an uptick in permits for apartment buildings. By 2018,
the industry should see a modest, but still-positive 75 percent
