Real estate dominates SF economy

Real estate continues to dominate the economy in South Florida, with
18.9 percent of the region’s GDP last year coming from real estate,
according to numbers released by the Commerce Department. Next on the
list is tourism — no surprise given the vast numbers of foreigners
scooping up real estate in South Florida, like Canadians
