North Miami approves land lease to Oaks I at Biscayne Landing

North Miami has leased two acres of land to the Oaks I condominium at Biscayne Landing, according to Andrew Hellinger, the court appointed receiver for the towers. The lease was approved by the city council.

With the land, the condo will develop amenities on a scaled down basis from what the developers initially intended. It will include a security gate, pool area, clubhouse, fitness center, playground, basketball court and party room. As previously reported, the Swerdlow Group will likely take over the property as it was the lone bidder for the Biscayne Landing parcel.
