Aldi looks for incentive on Royal Palm Beach store site

Grocery chain Aldi, which announced it was eyeing a site in Royal Palm
Beach for a new location, is looking for $1.7 million in property tax
exemptions to build on the property, the South Florida Business Journal
reports. The company, which hasn’t chosen a specific site yet, would
spend $43 million on the facility, according to Kelly Smallridge,
president and CEO of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach
County. “It would put a lot of people back to work, not only in this
facility, but in the construction industry,” Smalldridge said. [SFBJ]
